XT and its team partners may design, build, and provide efficiency optimization and oversight management services to the customer, working in collaboration with the existing facilities management staff.

Outsourced Services

XT acquires or builds, owns, operates and maintains the System, and enters into an a long-term Utility Services Agreement with the end-user customer. XT will, in turn, enter into a long-term O&M agreement with a third-party contractor which takes responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the System over the term of the Utility Services Agreement. The full faith and credit of the O&M service provider stands behind the XT Utility Services Agreement.

Value Proposition

The value proposition distinguishing the XT program from its competitors is that XT draws upon the unique capabilities of its management and energy alliance members to first analyze demand, power and energy dynamics, climatic conditions, and other factors, and then, design, finance and build a System to suit the customer's requirements.

The process begins with design engineering, and is then followed by the selection of technology vendors' systems to meet specific requirements.

XT incorporates suitable redundancies, alternative energy systems, thermal storage, and other features to guarantee System efficiency and reliability. Finally, XT monitors the Systems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and continuously works to improve energy efficiency and system operation.

XT also may take responsibility for other aspects of "demand-side management" such as fuel or electric power marketing, hedging or Demand Response contracts, as required.

These Best Systems and Best Practices are the XT team's "core competencies." They assure a property owner of a reliable, trouble-free solution to its energy needs, at a cost which is not only competitive, but can be reliably budgeted over the term of the contract.

Property Owner Benefits:
